Whoa. Check out THAT pose. You know. Some would refer to senior sprinter Joe Cafaro as "Mr. Marist" ... but alas, that's a story for another day. For today, we'll just call him the new school record holder in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles, in one of the more remarkable breakthrough races in recent memory. Joe decided to skip right over 55 seconds (previous career best = 56.22 seconds) and run a heat-winning time of 54.93 seconds, breaking Hakim Cunningham's two-year-old mark of 55.62. And yeah. He wasn't afraid to do a little stylin' afterwards. Nicely done!
