After a fantabulous indoor track season, in which she set career bests and school records in seemingly every meet and every race, junior Danisha Craig has had a little more uneven outdoor track season -- mostly due to severe shin splints that have hampered her training and racing. However, Danisha overcame this in her usual tough and classy way on Saturday afternoon, forging her way to a tremendous school record in the 400-meter dash at Bucknell. Danisha zoomed to a time of 57.83 seconds, eclipsing the nine-year-old mark of Holly Burns, which was 58.32 seconds. A great race from a great athlete. Nicely done!
