Glenmour Leonard-Osbourne placed sixth out of nine finalists in the college men's 100-meter championship on Saturday afternoon in Penn Relays, equaling his previous school-record mark of 10.39 seconds. In Friday's qualifying heats, he had run 10.36 seconds, which is now the current record. Coach Chuck watched the race from the infield, saying that Glen had a very strong first 75 meters before tightening up over the last 25 meters in the national-caliber field that featured sprinters from the University of Indiana, Houston, Ohio State, Arkansas and Clemson. We are proud of Glen's efforts and we look forward to the remainder of the championship season in the coming weeks.
