Thanks to Dawn Collins (mom of Hayley) for sharing this photo of Hayley and Gianna Tedeschi with the runner-up trophy they worked so hard to secure for their teammates, and with their undisputed leader, Coach Chuck Williams, proudly holding the trophy. The picture sums up what was another historic season for the women. Coach Chuck and these ladies were among the primary drivers of the program's unprecedented success. Neat!

The ECAC Cross Country championship trophy says "runner up"- I wonder if, when awarded for football or soccer or other sports, does the plaque say "second place"?
