Courtesy of U-Buffalo's XC staff, here's what the course looks like as of today (Tuesday). As you can see, they received a fair amount of snow. Earlier this fall, the area received a fair amount of rain, which makes for a soggy base on this golf course, which means that plowing the course was not possible (yes, they tried, and got stuck in the mud). So once again, NCAA Regionals in Buffalo will feature challenging conditions. Our advice to our athletes?
Spike up and go. If you fall, get up, and keep going. Same for everyone. No one's gonna feel sorry for anybody. Just race.
