Another banner season ended with another banner performance
by a core group of runners who have formed the greatest women’s cross country
program in school history. Our outstanding ladies finished second to regional powerhouse
Providence, cramming our entire top-7 into All-ECAC accolades. It was a great
day in the sun for our women, led once again by our junior power trio of Gianna
Tedeschi, Hayley Collins and Gianna Mastromatteo. Of our 10 women in the championship
race, we only lose Denise Grohn to graduation; that’s a big loss, because Deni
has been such a consistent and stable force on our team during her time here
(we look forward to more greatness in track!). But it bodes well for the future
of what is already an historically fantastic team. Thanks for the great
memories, ladies!
