As stated in a previous post, my youngest son James and I
returned on Monday from San Francisco. My nephew Doug got married to his
longtime partner Heather in a beautiful ceremony along the coast about 40
minutes south of the Bay Area. Perfect weather, perfect event. Doug is James’
godfather, so it was important for the both of us to make the trip. It was well
worth it and we were able to hit all the usual sights in San Francisco, with
only one missed day of school for our eighth grader (Monday was Columbus Day).
