Just returning from a late evening at the Armory, where our pal Nick McDonough from NYU hosted the Saturday Night Shootout meet. The meet signaled the end to our intensive, two-week intersession training, and our athletes continued to show improvement as well as a little weariness from the hard work. Both are good things!
Speaking of good things ... school records were set (or, on the men's side, tied) in the rarely run sprint medley relay. In addition, sprinter Danielle Asaro tied her own 60 dash record, originally set in December. We head into the heart of our season with the Terrier Invitational at Boston University next Friday and Saturday, where we look forward to strong performances on the Magic Carpet.
Let me get a few hours' sleep and I will get to posting the results and splits from tonight (or, more accurately now, last night).
