Thanks to my old pal Ken McMillan of the Middletown Times Herald Record for the fine article he did on Mark Valentino in today's newspaper. The link to the article can be found here. I worked with Ken for many years at the Poughkeepsie Journal, and he is an excellent reporter and writer. He "gets it" and he has always been a big supporter of what we do in the Marist Running world.
Race time today for Mark is 4:30 p.m. Weather could play a factor as there is a slight chance of severe storms in the area. This could impact the meet schedule if there are lightning delays. Check www.usatf.org for meet updates, and I will post Tino's splits here later.
