The big highlights of the daylight hours at Colonial Relays were two hurdle school records and two ECAC/IC4A qualifiers -- featuring the usual suspects.
--In the 110-meter high hurdles, senior captain Hakim Cunningham ran a great preliminary race, 14.51 seconds, breaking his own school mark of 14.66 from last year, easily exceeding the IC4A mark of 14.90, and advancing to Saturday's (today's!) final. Nicely done, Hakim!
--In the 400-meter intermediate hurdles, freshman Debbie Boerke placed fourth overall in 1:02.60, edging her ECAC qualifier and school record from last week at Raleigh by 0.02.
I meant to get a photo of the two hurdlers, but I didn't do it, sorry.
Of course, if you are following @MaristXCTF, you know about these records and qualifiers. OK!
