Bucknell Bison Classic: It was hot, then it was not

The weather was delightfully mixed on Saturday at Christy Mathewson Memorial Stadium at Bucknell University, one of our favorite meets of the year. The sunshine and warmth were welcome in the afternoon -- except by the roasted runners in the unseeded sections of the 10,000-meter run. When the sun went down, it cooled off quickly and considerably, but made for ideal conditions for the evening distance races under the lights. As is often the case, it was an excellent evening for our program -- especially on the women's side. I will post results, highlights and splits soon.
