--Below are the staples used to sew up the one-inch incision. Those staples are now out of my leg.
The doctor has sentenced me to at least two more weeks on the crutches. There is still discomfort and pain, especially at night. I'm a slow healer, but it's nice to know I have some hardware inside to keep the process moving.
