Penn Relays: 3,000-meter steeplechase results

Once again, being home in my pajamas gets you faster results updates than actually being there. Of course! I would much rather be there and hope to not miss big meets like this in the future. Killin’ me, but the support on the ground is great, with Coach Horton and Coach Chuck there, as well as teammates and friends/alums watching the live Flotrack stream and texting me updates constantly.

Here are the results from the first race of the night, the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Conditions were chilly and breezy. Talked to our guys afterwards: They felt they competed well but were not totally pleased with their finishing times, as their goals were a bit faster. Tino commented that the water jump was ice cold. Kenny said the water temperature didn’t bother him.
