All day, and all of the night

I heard from a reliable source that another, comparable track program to ours will have athletes at no fewer than nine (9!) different meets over the course of this weekend. That's mind-blowing. Here in the Marist Track world, we will have a lot going on, but it will be in just two places, as we discussed in the previous post.

--At Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, as we mentioned earlier, the action will start early (3km at 8 a.m.) and finish very late (1,500s, after 11 p.m.). In between, there will be a lot of events as well. Fortunately, we have loyal bus driver Mike R to make multiple shuttles back and forth to the hotel and the meet, so that our athletes will not be out in the warm weather (forecast highs in the 80s) for more than a few hours at a time.

--At Stanford, Kristen Traub runs in the late afternoon East coast time, while Michelle Gaye races very late Friday/early Saturday East coast time.

So we will have a lot of tracking of the results, around the clock, all day and all of the night.
