A strong first
day for the men, highlighted by Ramsey Little’s gutsy third-place finish in the
5,000-meter run, the DMR getting an IC4A qualifying mark and placing fourth,
and three individual qualifiers for Sunday’s finals – Jeremy Mooney in both the
60 dash and 200 dash, and Easton Eberwein in the 400 dash. Glenmour
Leonard-Osbourne was a scratch in the 60 due to injury. Jeremy filled the void
in a great, big way, showing his outstanding leadership.
Other highlights
included:
--Sophomore Aidan
Pech, with a five-second personal-best time in the mile run (4:20.58).
--Junior Patrick Kutch, with a 10-second personal-best time in the 5,000-meter run (15:14.00).
--Freshman Reed Dexter, with a personal-best time in the 400-meter dash (51.80).
--Freshmen Tyler Perry (1:58.20) and Thomas Dinsmore (1:58.30), with personal-best marks in the 800-meter run.
Our field event
athletes didn’t have their best day, but we’re proud of them for competing hard.
