He has traded in his racing spikes for, well, whatever equipment it is that jiu-jitsu fighters use. That's right, the GOAT, the one and only Quimes DelaCruz, pictured here today, won a Jiu-Jitsu competition. He had plenty of practice, during his four years here at Marist as a record-setting distance runner. What did Quimes do in those restless minutes before going out for distance runs from the McCann Center? He would wrestle his teammates in the racquetball court, of course. Well, now, apparently, he's taking those old-school wrestling and grappling skills and putting them to good use.
The GOAT is still the GOAT.
