Congrats to Marist Running Alum Liza Grudzinski, who this morning won the Newburgh Half Marathon. She was second overall and first among women. Official times have yet to be posted, but the reports I received were that Liza won in around 1 hour, 24 minutes, on a course that appeared to be a bit long. We are pleased that Liza wore a Marist racing singlet in the race. After all these years, she's still leading the way in the red and white. Liza and Kirk are proud parents of 14-month-old Emmett, and we wish Liza a Happy Mother's Day!
