Congrats to 2024 Marist Running alum Anthony Citera for earning his "white coat" after completing Year 1 of the Physician Assistant (PA) program. The White Coat Ceremony was held on Friday afternoon at the Culinary Institute of Ameria (CIA) and I was honored to be invited to be there. Citera started the program two days (TWO DAYS) after his graduation last May and it was an intense year of schooling. He continued to run with the team most weekends, but usually under a glaze of sleep-deprived, stressed-out haze from this rigorous program. Next, he does "clinical rotations" in which he will garner real-world experience. As always, we are proud of Citera and again I was honored to be there with his family to celebrate another milestone in his life. Neat.
