Ice is not nice

If you live anywhere in or around the mid-Hudson Valley, you know what I'm talking about when I mention the scourge of ice. Almost everyone I know around here has a skating rink where once their driveway was. The Winter Olympics have started early. Going out to your car is speed skating! Or curling. Geez. This is NOT fun. Areas that have a dusting of snow are lurking dangers with ice underneath. Several folks I know have tumbled to the ground. Given my history in this area, of course I have a Great Fear of this. And with Wednesday's storm of snow and ice and freezing rain looming, the not-so-nice scourge of ice will continue. Not pleased at all.
