In the spirit of MLK
Thanks to sprint team leader, senior Alexia Santiago, for sending me photos and information on the following community service project that she helped to set up last week. Here is her description of the community service: On Thursday, January 15, 22 Marist Sprinters volunteered at the Food Bank on the Hudson Valley in Croton on Hudson. We were separated in two groups, one group opened donated food pallets weighing 200 pounds and the second group sorted the donated food into boxes to be delivered to food pantries across the Hudson Valley.
On this Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, these photos and this community service reminds us of these great words from that great man: "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?"
