Frosty face

There is a group on Facebook called Ice Beard Runners and I was tempted to add this photo to it from this morning's run. But the quality of the photo is poor (on so many levels!) so it will have to suffice on this fancy blog. Here are the run stats, for those keeping score at home (and, I KNOW you are!):

Start time: 5:35 a.m. as usual
Location: Hyde Park, NY
Running partner: Fast Tony
Starting temperature: 2 degrees above zero
Mileage: 6, with hills (more miles than degrees!)
Finish temperature: Don't know, obviously frosty on the face.
Finish conditions: Dark. As you can see.

The bitter cold conditions will not persist. I heard 40s for Sunday. Yippee.
