This "artistic" photo was taken toward the end of a glorious track workout at Vassar College on Tuesday afternoon. Glorious because there was no snow, little wind and temperatures approaching 50 degrees. The "no snow" is key. Today, we plan a return trip to the track in far less favorable conditions -- damp, chilly, rainy, windy and maybe even snowy later. But just the fact that we can get on "our" outdoor track in the middle of the winter is a blessing.
