Northport New Year’s track workout

Awesome text and photo from loyal Marist Running/Track Alum Bryan Quinn, who hit the track with his fellow Northport High School alums for the first workout of 2020. Quinn (the old guy on the right) graduated from Northport in 2003. He joined two other Northport legends, Mikey Brannigan (Class of 2015) and Kevin Tschirhart (Class of 2005). The old man Quinn (Class of 2003) did an 800 at tempo pace, followed by 6 x 200 cutdowns (33 down to 28). Quinn is still on our 4x400 school records (indoors and outdoors) and seems intent to prove that he could still hang with the Current Foxes. Oh, how we’d love to turn back the clock and get Quinn back in that red and white speed suit one more time. Great to see he's still chasing it, more than a decade removed from his glory days.
