Congrats to senior captain Dietrich Mosel for a breakthrough race in the 5km tonight at Boston. Dietrich ran a 9-second PR and vaulted up to eighth all-time and qualified for the IC4A Championships in the event. It was a great effort for Dietrich, who has been bothered by niggling injuries on and off since the end of his stellar XC season. Tonight's race validated all the long-term work he has put in, and also proved that he can be a tough cookie out there -- he led the race (section 2) for the majority of the 25 laps, setting the pace for the rest of the field. Nicely done, Deet!
