Racewalking update: Kristi Licursi 2nd in Albany

Sophomore racewalker Kristi Licursi was second overall in the USATF Adirondack Challenge 1-mile racewalk last Friday night at the University at Albany. Racing the full mile distance, Kristi posted a time of 7:57. Her dad and biggest fan, Doug, reported via e-mail that it was "not bad but she can do better." He also pointed out that with each race, she builds confidence in her excellent racewalking ability. She was practicing it this afternoon, doing walk intervals at the SUNY New Paltz indoor track. We remain very proud of Kristi and her racewalking pursuits. Nicely done!
