Sophomore Spencer Johnson became the 22nd men's distance runner in school history to break 15 minutes for 5,000 meters. He ran 14:59.73 and placed 10th at the MAAC meet on Saturday night. Much like when he qualified for USATF Juniors last spring in the 10,000, Spencer got the milestone by the narrowest of margins. But! He did it, and he now belongs to the elite club below.
