Fast marathons by alums at CIM!

These things are difficult to quantify but ... Sunday's California International Marathon (CIM) might have been the greatest (marathon) showing ever for Forever Foxes on a single day. Wow!

Spencer Bossi-Johnson (2:16:54, 5:14 pace) and Hayley Collins (2:37:38, 6:01 pace) both ran personal-best times -- in Hayley's case, a major breakthrough! -- and fell just shy of the newer (and MUCH tougher) Olympic Trials standards. Both are believed to be the fastest Marist Alumni times in school history. 

In addition! Kevin O'Sullivan (2:21:01, 5:23 pace) and Ryan Fitzsimons (2:33:27, 5:52 pace) both ran personal-best times. 

A great day to be a Running Red Fox in California!

Notes:

-           Everyone must make an initial check in no later than 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time of their event.  CIRCLE the number next to your name.

-           Heat and Lanes will be given out 15 minutes prior to your event time at the clerks.

-           ALL Field Events will check in at the EVENT site 

-           Please REPORT All scratches as soon as you know them, so we are not guessing

            if someone is showing up for their race.       

 

 

 

(first) snow day at the (new) track

 First storm of the (winter) season? Snow problem! We had an unidentified staff member shovel lane 1, we had our (men's) distance team utilizing the "fast" lane and ... we had our first snow angel on the track. Neat x3!
