As has been the custom over the past several years, the first Marist
Running results of the New Year come from the Millennium Mile in New Hampshire,
a lightning fast, point-to-point, downhill mile race. Fifth-year runner Mark
Valentino was seventh overall in 4:17.4, a few ticks slower than he ran last
year (4:15.9). Freshman Hannah Albert was fifth in the 13-19 women’s division in 5:32.5.
Mark’s parents, Tom and Louise, ran strong as well. Tom in 7:14.0 and Louise in
8:44.4. Nicely done, to one and all!
