Congratulations to junior captain Tim Johnson, for running a smoking fast 200-meter dash, and eclipsing the 2-year-old school record set by former captain Jesse Aprile. Tim had a great start and a powerful race, but stumbled a bit over the final 10 meters. Despite this, he was able to hold on to a stellar school record, and he capped his magnificent day by anchoring the 4x400 relay to a season-best time with his 50.1-second split. Nicely done, Tim!

as a throwing events person who is now 60 years old, I would take those quads and calf muscles anyday.....shows effort from the competition, obviously, but also shows dedicated training and time spent building a muscle base, with good coaching, to be used in the right way- getting fast.
