Gotham Cup: Outrunning the snowstorm

As we departed the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex at around 10 p.m., after a long day at the NYC Gotham Cup meet, it was snowing pretty steadily and the wind was blowing hard. Yeah. That big blizzard was getting started. Fortunately for us, we were heading NORTH, in the opposite direction of the snow. After crossing into New Jersey and getting to near Newark, the snow stopped and we had a smooth trip back to Poughkeepsie. We were fortunate to outrun this storm. Here's hoping that everyone reading this can weather the storm as safely as possible.
