Man, it was hot! Temps in the upper 80s, humidity up there too, and a blast furnace hot breeze out of the south kicking up dust at the park. And yet ...
We ran very well for our first meet of the year, and our first home meet in 11 years. Check www.goredfoxes.com later tonight for complete meet results. I was especially pleased with our freshmen performances -- on both the men's and women's sides. Great to see our new athletes debut with such fine efforts. We welcome them all.

After taking an off day on Saturday because of the monsoon, it's back to work on Sunday for a hard week of training as we do not race next week.
It was great seeing all the alums and families at the meet. In all, a fine day and we'll do it again next September.
