IC4A Championships: Men's results

The end of a cross country season is always bittersweet. For senior Dietrich Mosel, it was a lot more sweet than it was bitter, as he ended one of the best seasons for a Marist XC runner with a stellar race at IC4As. He placed 12^th overall in 25:38.2, in the process recording the 10^th fastest time in school history (we’ll update the list in a later post) on the historic Van Cortlandt Park course. Keep in mind that Marist men’s XC runners have been racing here for more than 50 years. After that, our scoring pack compression of 20 seconds (26:27.3 to 26:47.3) was excellent, but needed to be a few strides up in the race. Palmer Weimann got himself onto that all-time list with his time of 26:27.3 (40^th all-time, the cutoff is 26:30.0). This meet ended a strong, solid, good season for the men. We are very much anticipating track season. We will post the meet schedule in a few days. Thanks to all family and alumni for your support today. We felt your love.
