In what was clearly the finest women’s XC season in school
history, it was fitting that we went out with some more firsts in the newly
created ECAC Championships format (one championship division). Our women
brought home the hardware with a fourth-place finish (top 5 teams got
trophies), we had four All-East (top-40) performances, and we had seven
sub-19:00 races, the first time that’s ever happened. Coach Chuck’s “word of
the day” was “unforgettable” and that aptly describes this season. So much to remember, and so much to look forward to. We will never forget 2017 women's cross country. Nicely done,
ladies!
