Home meet: Weather update

A quick check of the weather for Saturday morning is mostly favorable. It will still be warmish, but not nearly the blazing midsummer like heat we have been dealing with the past several days in late morning/early afternoon practice. The overnight lows will dip into the very comfortable 50s. Checking the accuweather.com hourly forecast for 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., around our race times, and it looks like air temperatures in the 65-70 degree range with the "real feel" temps slightly warmer than that due to clear and sunny skies. It will be a bit warmer for our good friends at Vassar, who are hosting their meet races after ours, but overall it should be manageable.

We look forward to seeing everyone there, and we encourage all in the Marist XC/Track Family to stick around and support Vassar XC and their excellent, early-season meet right after us. We are indebted to Vassar Athletics for all they do to support our program, and we are proud of our friends James and Justin, who have built a high quality D3 program over on the other side of town.
