Great start for our ladies! We detailed the awesome
beginning of the meet with our high jump school record. But it was a strong day
for our sprint crew, who have been working so hard with Coach Horton and Cuesta
for the past three months. In particular, sophomore Ashley Haynes won both of
her sections in the 60 and 200 dashes and ran personal-best times in each,
looking powerful and strong in doing so. Freshman Danisha Craig impressed us
all with section wins and strong performances as well. School record holders
Danielle Asaro and Molly Weeks picked up where they left off last year and led
the way with their solid efforts as well. Sophomores Courtney Cartwright and
Lauren Traina had personal-best races as well. A good day and we very much look
forward to 2015.
