Talk about an incredible coincidence: Marist Running Alum Nick Webster, now racing for the Albany
Running Exchange, finished Sunday’s Stockadeathon 15-kilometer race in
Schenectady in 51:08, an average of 5:30 per mile for the 9.3-mile race. He
placed 21st in a stacked field. All awesome stuff, but here’s the
kicker. Web ran the EXACT SAME TIME last year! And, even better: The course was
CHANGED from last year. Last year, he placed 15th in the field. This year’s
field was much deeper, but he ran equally as well. Equally, as in … to the
second! Amazing. And nicely done.
