The waning days of XC

As we prepare for today's NCAA Regional meet at Van Cortlandt, the calendar and the air temperature remind us that we are in the waning days of the cross country season. Above is a photo of the Men of Practice 2.0, doing a fartlek workout at the Cator Loop on the grounds of the FDR estate. The next two days, we were at the Vassar Track, where the bathrooms are locked shut with the notice that they are not to be used because they have been winterized. With a dusting of snow on the ground this morning, the term "winterized" seems more ominous than ever. Hope to see you at Vanny either today and/or next Saturday, as we bid farewell to XC 2014.
