Mad scientist at the track

Senior distance runner and athletic training major Pat Deedy turned his teammates into lab rats at Tuesday's practice. In the interest of the scientific method, I will not divulge the details of Deedy's bizarre machinations and experiments -- not to mention his odd looking scientific gadgets that he is shown with here at the track. Heart-rate monitors were used, charts were filled out and most importantly HARD WORK was accomplished on the (what else?) windy and chilly day out at Vassar. Bill Nye the Science Guy? I THINK NOT. But, in the interest of allowing him to graduate successfully, we will all go along with Deedy's experimentations over the next few weeks ...
