Just got this photo texted to me from sprint team captain Jesse Aprile, with the message: Clear track = happy Jesse. Indeed! Down his way in upper Westchester County, the snow is mostly gone. He just called me to update on the workout he did, and it went well. A little cold. But no snow, no problem.
Up here in Dutchess County, our luck is not so fortunate. Here's hoping a week from now, when the team returns to Poughkeepsie, we will have a clear track on which to practice. Looking at the temperatures and forecasts this week, I'm not counting on it.
