We head down to Princeton on Friday for the ECAC and IC4A
Championships this weekend. We have what we believe to be our largest
contingent of qualifiers for the meet – four individual men and a relay, and
three individual women and a relay. The schedule of events is listed below; you’ll
note the dubious nature of the schedule (25 minutes allotted for the women’s
10km?), but that’s how it was presented to us. The weather looks horrendous, at
least on Saturday – heavy rain, wind and chilly temperatures. Is spring ever
going to arrive for good? We’ve been shivering through Little League games and
track meets for weeks now – and it’s not just me! I see other parents huddled
under blankets or watching games from the warmth of their cars. Come on, man.
Anyway! We are proud of our entrants and we are hopeful to extend our stay in
Princeton through Sunday. It won’t be easy, but that’s the GOAL. OK!
