Marist Running Alum Pat Deedy had a productive day at the
Harpoon Octoberfest 3.65-mile road race in Vermont. Deedy ran 20:33 for the
unusual race distance. He was seventh overall, second in his age group, and
earned a free 12-pack, mug and refills. I guess Deedy saved the carbo loading
for AFTER the race. Or perhaps? He was drowning his sorrows as his beloved Red
Sox are going down in flames in the American League Division Series to the
Indians. Ha!
