Sorry for the lack of posts. Busy times on so many fronts, including the fact that I am teaching this semester for the first time in several semesters -- a new class (for me), too! Intro to Journalism, Monday and Thursday, 8 a.m. The return of Professor Pete. Don't worry. It's not that exciting at all. But, since it is the first time teaching the class, I am formulating a template as I go ... and these things take time. As does ... recruiting ... traveling to New Paltz three times a week ... head coaches meetings ... recruiting ... practices ... recruiting ... practices ... driving kids to and from school activities ... you get the idea. And so, the posts have mostly been meet related and will continue to be so for the next few weeks.
The past two mornings have been two-hour delays in our school district as some semblance of winter has returned to the mid-Hudson Valley. Fortunately, both "storms" were quite small and had little impact on the team's training.
This weekend is a return trip to Boston for the Valentine Invitational, always a favorite of the program. The meet schedule is LOADED (for entries, go to www.lancertiming.com). I will put up the meet schedule in the next post, and will update as frequently as possible over the weekend. Thank you for your patience.
