Congrats to senior captain Hakim Cunningham for his absolutely clutch performance in the final of the 60-meter hurdles. After another moribund run in the trials, one in which he was fortunate to advance to the finals, he put together the best race of his illustrious career with a second-place finish, an IC4A qualifier and a monster school record -- eclipsing Marist Track royalty Eli Bisnett-Cobb in the record books once and for all, a proud mark that has stood the test of time for more than a decade. Until this afternoon. It has been a rough few weeks of rocky hurdle races for Hakim, but he put it together at the absolute best time.
