Back in town, ready to go

Much of the team returned to campus yesterday for the beginning of the 2018 track season, practice and competition. We ran up a nice, large grocery store bill so that our men and women will be well-fed during this intersession week when the Grand Dining Hall (it's actually called that!) is closed. As if on cue, the brutal cold weather has finally abated and we can resume complaining about normal January weather. Actually, it's supposed to get warm and rainy later in the week, which will hopefully melt a lot of the snow on the outdoor tracks that we use. We can only hope. Our first meet back is on Friday at Ocean Breeze, hosted by our friends at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Rockland County. It will be, as they say, a "rust buster" and will be good to get everyone back on the track. More details on the meet later in the week. Let's GO!
