We are very proud of our racewalkers – senior Kristi Licursi
and sophomore Katie Miale – who represented our school so well on a national
stage at the Millrose Games on Saturday afternoon at the Armory in New York City.
Kristi was fourth overall in a personal-best time of 7:39.62 in the mile
racewalk. Katie was seventh in 8:08.15. Their race splits are below. A few of us were tracking their splits live on Bryn Gorberg's laptop at a very crowded Boston University Track and Tennis Center It’s so great
that Kristi and Katie were wearing Marist singlets in a national-championship race. Nicely
done, ladies!
