Vassar Twilight: Stefan Morton qualifies for IC4As in 1,500

Junior Stefan Morton got an IC4A qualifier in the 1,500-meter run with an outstanding PR time of 3:56.36, just dipping under the qualifying standard of 3:56.50, under the lights at our "home" track at Vassar, with a little help from his friends and teammates:

--Freshman Brian Henderson, who acted as a perfect rabbit/pacer, by taking him through the 800-meter mark in the 2:05/2:06 range, and Brian did it wonderfully.

--And his good pal and classmate Spencer Johnson, who is holding the larger than life head of Stefan that he flashed throughout the race. Spencer has used a similar big head during men's basketball games to cheer on their housemate and friend Kentrall Brooks. Nicely done, Stefan! FYI: All three guys will be racing on Sunday at the MAAC Championships.
