Above: Conor Shelley shows his winning form (alert readers will note pacer Harbert Okuti in the background; Harbert just finished 15th overall in the Boston Marathon!);
Left: Old coach sharing umbrella with daughter Natalie. I should note that I was riddled with guilt at this time, as I was spewing profane invective within her earshot at some of our young runners (Hickey) for their insane early pace ("Don't follow Conor," I said. Of course! He did). Although I felt guilty about this, she found it extremely entertaining. Now she knows how her old man spends his days (and nights, and weekends ...).
