An uplifting cycling story, for a change

Check out this wonderfully written piece by Juliet Macur of the New York Times a few days ago, about an American cyclist in the Tour de France who was forced to quit the race due to severe injury. But before he quit, he refused to quit, and showed a uniquely competitive spirit not often seen in professional sports.
