It was a good night for the track/cross country family at the Senior Awards Banquet Monday night at Christos Restaurant in Poughkeepsie.
--Will Griffin won the Male Sportsperson of the Year Award
--Erin O'Reilly won the President's Academic Achievement Award
--Women's cross country won the Athletic Director's Award for highest team GPA
The Senior Awards Banquet is an excellent, but bittersweet, event. It is very well done and a great way to honor the many fine senior athletes in all sports. But it is also the beginning of the long goodbye over the next few weeks, culminating with Commencement.
