(Remember, the last time these two dudes were on the blog was to show off their MAAC mustaches ...)
Yeah, yeah. That's Walsh and Vess over there on the left, sporting their Run Flagstaff swag (side note: How about a Run Flagstaff hat for their old coach?!?) Our boys were in Phoenix for the 37th annual Phoenix 5K race. Walsh was there to support his fellow Marist Running Alum Vess, who finished fourth overall in 15:13 and earned a cash prize for his efforts. In the same event, our old pal Alex Soderberg of Iona was second in the 10km in 30:00.
Vess and Walsh have been training hard in the thin air of Flagstaff. Both have remained healthy (knock on wood) and strong. We are glad they are doing well at altitude.
